Building on the success of the MC2.1, the MC3.1 monitor controller delivers the same trusted accuracy, transparency and build quality, while adding an expanded feature set. Designed to faithfully reproduce your recordings without colouration, the MC3.1 offers more inputs, greater routing flexibility, advanced monitoring tools and a desktop wedge form factor for easy use.

Alongside its analogue inputs, the MC3.1 adds a combined digital AES/S/PDIF (24-bit/192kHz) input, bringing the total to five individually switchable sources - including a convenient front-panel auxiliary input with level control for quick connection of an MP3 player, smartphone or tablet.

Full cue-mix facilities with level control provide independent source selection for the main or cue outputs and both headphone amplifiers. This allows, for example, an artist to listen to a completely different mix from the engineer. A dedicated cue-mix output is also available.

A secondary preset volume control on the front panel provides a repeatable, calibrated output level for the monitors. At the flick of a switch, you can return to the same predetermined listening level every time without the need for constant adjustment.

The MC3.1 features three stereo balanced speaker outputs plus a dedicated mono speaker/subwoofer output, each with individual left/right trims for precise level matching. All outputs can be switched individually, simultaneously and in any order. You can run multiple speakers with the same subwoofer, or bypass the subwoofer altogether.

Expanded mix-checking capabilities include low, mid and high solo switches to focus on specific frequency ranges - ideal for checking how low-end bleeds into the mids or assessing stereo width. Additional features include left/right channel swap and enhanced talkback facilities, now supporting both internal and external microphones with optional footswitch operation.
