Following on from the acclaimed Drawmer MC2.1 - renowned for its functionality and transparency - comes its new sibling: the MC1.1 monitor pre-amp. Delivering the same superb sound with a refined feature set, the MC1.1 is ideal for smaller post-production booths, desktop studios or home environments where multiple speaker setups aren't required.
Whether you're a serious musician, audio engineer or passionate vinyl enthusiast, the MC1.1 delivers complete accuracy and transparency, faithfully reproducing every detail without colouration. Alongside connecting your MP3 player, iPod or smartphone, you can experience the warmth and depth of vinyl via the built-in RIAA phono stage. Simply connect a turntable and active speakers or headphones, and rediscover your record collection.
The MC1.1's front panel is dominated by two large, independent volume controls - one for the main line outputs and one for the headphone amplifier. Both use parallelled custom-quad potentiometers for excellent channel matching and a smooth, precise feel.
Dedicated switches for each input and output section make operation quick and intuitive. This elegantly simple layout gives you all the control you need without unnecessary complexity.
.....It really is that good - and it did all I needed it to do: I could hear everything I expected and needed to hear, and it performed flawlessly.
Smart, stylish and solidly engineered, the rugged enclosure is designed to withstand the demands of daily studio or home use. Combined with high-quality components throughout, the MC1.1 is built for years of reliable, transparent performance.
For installations, the MC1.1 can be rack-mounted using the optional MCB rack-mounting kit. It includes two side panels/ears, a front fascia and a lead that relocates the AUX input from the rear panel to the front for convenient access. Also included are all required screws, a full assembly guide and an Allen key - everything you need for a quick, secure installation.
